All units at Homestake Condos are on two levels with windows facing Vail Mountain. The main level features an open living area, fireplace, full kitchen, full bathroom, and patio. The sleeping area(s) is on the second level. Studio loft units have one large sleeping area overlooking the living room and fireplace. The one bedroom plus loft units have one enclosed bedroom plus an adjacent sleeping loft overlooking the living room and fireplace. All condos are fully furnished with towels, linens and kitchen items.

Located in Vail's Sandstone neighborhood across the highway from Lionshead Village (base area with gondola). See the map below for our exact location on the free Sandstone shuttle just a few minutes to the Lionshead pedestrian bridge and less than 10 minutes to Vail Village. Parking is available on site (with pass) for one car. The building is less than 50 yards to the shuttle stop which runs every 20-30 minutes until 2 am (most of the season). Grocery shopping is available in West Vail (Safeway and City Market) about 1 mile away, easily accessible by car or a short taxi ride. Otherwise, most of our guests at the Homestake Condos ride the shuttle everywhere! Hiking/snowshoe trails on Vail's North Trail system are about 150 meters away with fabulous ski run views.

The Homestake Condos are a favorite of value oriented travelers who love to ski and snowboard! Our guests appreciate the comfort of a condo with a full kitchen for less than the price of many hotels in the area. The studio loft units generally accomodate two adults. The one bedroom plus loft units accomodate up to 4 people. Individual units vary in size, but most are between 650 and 700 square feet.
